Zeu (Zeus)


Zeu (Zeus) (Kigir.: Ζευς or Δίας "Zeus / Días", Kilat.: Iuppiter)
Zeu ni "baba wa miungu na binadamu" ambaye hutawala miungu Waolimpo wanaoishi Mlimani mwa Olimpo. Yeye ni mungu wa mbingu wa radi na ni mfalme wa miungu katika mitholojia ya Kigiriki. Mwenzi wake wa Kirumi ni Jupita. Alama zake ni tai, fahali na mwaloni. Kulingana na mitholojia ya Kietruski, yeye hujulikana kama Tinia.

Zeus is the "father of gods and men" who rules the Olympians gods living on Mount Olympus. He is the god of the sky and thunder and is the king of the gods in Greek mythology. His Roman counterpart is Jupiter. His symbols are the eagle, bull and oak tree. According to Etruscan mythology he is known as Tinia.
